About Pages & Voices

Pages & Voices is a community-based education initiative dedicated to bringing real-life stories into schools. We believe that students learn not only from textbooks, but from the experiences of people who have lived through meaningful challenges, choices, and moments of responsibility. By connecting schools with authentic voices, we aim to make learning more personal, relevant, and lasting.

What We Do

Pages & Voices works with authors, speakers, and community figures to organize school talks that focus on real-world experiences. These events give students the opportunity to engage directly with individuals whose stories offer insight, perspective, and inspiration. Following each talk, we purchase and donate copies of the speaker’s books to participating schools. This allows students to continue engaging with the ideas and stories introduced during the event, long after the presentation ends.

Our Approach

We operate at the community level, partnering closely with schools to ensure that each event is meaningful, appropriate, and educational. Our focus is not scale for its own sake, but depth of impact — creating moments that stay with students and support learning beyond the classroom.
